I saw this meme earlier today, read it, shook my head and moved on.

I read again and the hypocrisy hit me in the face, wait he is what and he is saying what?

Well Candidate Jindal and the other members of The Clown Car can say almost anything they wish, because contrary to the actions and words of some citizens and lawmakers, we are a country of laws.

In order to end "birthright citizenship, in spite of The Donald's rhetoric, we would need a constitutional amendment. And that is no easy feat. (the ERA was introduced in 1923, it finally died 1n 1982.) So, how long would it take to change the 14th? the only amendment that was ratified quickly was the 26th, 3 months, the 27th took over 200 years.

Now that he is safely off the boat that allowed him to anchor in our port and become a governor of one of our states, he now wishes to scuttle that boat.

And after watching CNN,
They’re telling me the world
Has officially ended,
Just in time for me
To take that extra day off
From work__
That I've been needing,
And trying to schedule
For some time now.

But why is it always like this?
So many things to do beforehand:
I need to prepare my 401K
For the market crash that's coming.
I have to bury that extra gold
I bought last week.
Certainly, there’s the need to stock up
On food and water for the coming shortages,
And I mustn't forget to take out the trash,
As the garbage workers may go on strike;

The car tank needs filling too,
Since we may have to evacuate.
If we do, there’ll be no time to really relax,
But has there ever been enough time lately?
Still, I've been a good Republican
And Democrat.
I’m no conspiracy theorist,
I don’t believe in the “deep state;”
But just maybe, they'll spot me some

THE DONALD CONTINUES TO DOMINATE

The Donald of course dominated the Sunday morning talk and no-substance shows.

Has anyone stopped and thought about the trouble this country and the rest of the world would be in, if he were elected President of the US of A?

No, why haven’t you thought about it? I can see you shaking your head, would never happen. Oh yes, it could.  In 2012, only 57% of eligible voters went to the polls. If for instance the ½ of the non-voters went to the voting booths in 2016 and voted for him, we would be in a boatload of trouble.

Scott Walker spent part of his time attacking The Donald. Walker said The Donald sounds like a Dem when attacking his record in Wisconsin.  Well Walker’s record needs to be attacked, unless of course your last name begins with a K and then you are pleased as punch.

Ben Carson “I think all things are possible, but it’s much too early to begin such conversations.”

What conversations? Well he and The Donald as Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates.. Are there any sane viable members of the GOP, anyone that members of the Democratic party could maybe stomach being in the White House? And please don’t tell me JB.

Where was JB yesterday? If he visited one of the shows I missed him , but one of his advisors took to the airways on Fox of course to say this:  MUKASEY: It may not impact her [Hillary] personally eventually, if it comes -- if it comes to show that she didn't know what was on the server. But to say that the investigation is not of someone personally is ridiculous. The FBI does not investigate machines, it investigates people. And she's certainly one of the people who's being investigated.”

Did anyone question or correct him? No, of course not. The incident of the emails and the server is being investigated, at this time Hillary personally is not. That could come down the road. The Tea Party cable station rolls on.

What will they do when there is a change at the top and that station moves to the middle, which can’t happen a moment too soon for the rest of us.

Again, The Donald was on another candidate’s mind, as Chris Christie weighed in on his immigration plan, which he considers simplistic. Well it may be a stupid, simplistic plan but at least he has one, which is more that his party can say.

For the first time in years Mike Huckabee said something that I agree with and of course it was about Trump.

“He’s a force to be reckoned with,” he said on Fox.

“He’s getting ten times the coverage of any other candidate,” he said. “The dumbest thing people can do is give him more attention.”

PS. Fiorina says she will run on her business record any day. We as voters need to run away from her.

The city commissioners in Daytona Beach, Florida have given the go ahead for a shooting range, yup, a shooting range to have a restaurant with a bar.

You read that right, a shooting range.

At least, once per month and I am being generous I read a news story about the Sunshine state and wonder what is in the air or water that results is the wacky and painful stuff that happens there.
From hanging chads to Zimmerman to the looniest of the current governor they have it all.

And now the icing on the cake. Yes, I know there are states that allow guns in bars, but this is beyond the pale.

Customers can bring their own guns or rent one on site. Okay then.

Whenever a law is passed or some other incident occurs in the US that bothers Americans, especially those on the right, the stock response is "I am moving to Canada."

Well we have a family who came here from Canada, and much to our national shame they have a son who is a US Senator. 
His name is Ted Cruz. 

And here is my quandary,  we know why The Donald says the things he does, he is a shock pol, but why does Cruz? either he has no filter, in other words he suffers from foot in mouth disease or he says things to ingratiate himself with the very far right wing of the Republican Party.

Which ever the reason, he is a national disgrace.

As an example his comments after VP Biden's son died, followed by his remarks the day after President Carter told us of his illness, just those 2 incidents which should tell the American voting public that he is unfit to be the President of the United States.

He needs to stay in Texas, representing a state that is a bastion of all this country should not be.
