I have been impressed, yes, impressed and amazed by how the GOP pols stay on message. No matter how bad it maybe for us and no matter how ridiculous it makes them appear.
Remember, the Speaker hollering "Where are the jobs"? well unemployment is down, way down, but he is still hollering. Find me a jobs bill that Congress has passed and I will eat one of the more than a dozen hats I own.
The same lockstep applies to Obamacare. This is the party message and even though I know it is not true, I will stick with that message, no matter what.
Which brings us to this piece of fiction, written by Senator Rubio and published in Politico Magazine. To wit, the ACA is not working, I don't care what you say, what proof you have, the GOP has said it is a failure and we will go down to defeat (from my lips to God's ears) saying that.
Senator Rubio has a real future as a stand up comedian
ReplyDeleteThe most amusing part is that Obamacare is modeled after a Republican President (Nixon) and a Republican think tank.
DeleteYou know, it seems the more ridiculous and outrageous they are, the more popular they become!!! Not sure what that says for some people!
ReplyDeleteWe are all in their (repubs) reality show and the host is The Donald. All the rest on the stage are trying to impress him. I like a deer in headlights cannot change the channel on the world. Shrugs, for now I guess I will watch and wait for commercials
ReplyDeleteAnd wait for the words The End, and the credits to roll and with a D after the names.
