An open letter to Don Lemon

Dear Don Lemon,

You and the Police Officer both lost in this encounter.

I was not surprised by the comments all over social media condemning this girl, but you? You are supposed to be a journalist. Why are you subscribing to the "we don't know what happened before" nonsense?

Tell me Mr. Lemon, suppose this was your sister or any family member of yours, would you believe that there is anything she could have done, (other than pulling a gun or knife) that would have warranted this man, this supposed Officer of the Law throwing her to the ground and treating her as though she was 275 pound man?

And since you feel it is important to know what the young woman did before the video started, do you also want to know the things this man has been accused of doing before?
If so, read this article on your employer's website.
Too busy? Okay, read this:

Officer's career marked with lawsuits, praise

Fields did not immediately respond to CNN's request for comment Monday night. But court documents and a sheriff's department newsletter offer a study in contrasts in his career.  The officer was a subject of two lawsuits in the past decade.
In the first case, Fields was accused of excessive force and battery in a 2007 lawsuit. A jury ruled in favor of the officer.
The second case is scheduled to go to trial in January. Fields is one of several defendants listed in a suit filed by a student against the school district over his expulsion.

When did you lose your objectivity? Is there a clause in your contract that says you have to defend whites/law enforcement whenever there is a black person on the end of the confrontation?

Do you think that being Black means going to extremes not to tell the truth which is right in front of your face for fear of offending, whom? Your audience? your corporate masters? Who Mr. Lemon.

If I were not checking sources, I would not have known that you had become a corporate stooge, since I stopped watching CNN when the bosses decided that you were no longer the cable outlet that reported the news, but became Fox and msnbc all at the same time.

I suggest you look at this video and then go look in the mirror.
I hope you don’t like what you see, cause I sure don’t.
Sincerely,
BimPrincess
